My grandmother was recently diagnosed with Lung Cancer and I am hoping to find some patterns for chemo caps or possibly even pajama-type clothes to make her. Having went through chemo myself i know how sensitive your entire body can be from the medicines so I am sure she will appreciate some comfy attire during her treatment. She is doing her first treatment right now so i have a little time before her hair starts falling out, but we were just informed she'll be getting radiation as well though so it might happen faster than i think!
I was lucky enough to find some wonderfully soft jersy-type fabric for Super cheap the other day. Also some nice knit stuff for sweater material. I checked on Google but was having ahard time finding actual sewing patterns, even for chemo caps. I was also hoping to find some simple PJ patterns for her... I would like to alter them a bit so the Dr's can access her port easily during her treatments.
I really appreciate any help anyone has to offer. online patterns would be great or if anyone knows of any paper patterns that aren't too hard to find at the store or something.
