This is Ming Ming. I've had her/him since the very beginning of June. She was a pale yellow but has gotten darker progressively. Ming is one of 3, all a few days apart in age, but is a third of the size of the others. Ming doesn't make a sound at all ever which made me think it's a male but the feathers and size have me confused. I have no clue of the breed any ideas would be greatly appreciated. Ming is almost 4 months old and I mentioned hasn't made a noise that I've heard. Once when our dog approached I thought Ming made a little chirp noise.

Muscovy ducks are considered a heavy weight duck. However, they size up slower than other heavy weights like the Pekins. It can take 4-6 months to get them to a useful harvest weight and more than 8 months to achieve mature size.
