Hi, I'm a newbie chook owner and hatched these 3 chickens - 2 light Sussex and one cross bantam/Light Sussex.
They are now 16 weeks old and I cannot decide on their sex!
I have no other chickens so they have not learned behaviours from others. There has been no crowing. The Black bird and one of the whites spar a bit, but no crowing as such. The black one produced a full laying call a few weeks ago but nothing more than contented chook noises since then. It also had 4 very curly tail feathers which have since fallen/been pulled out.
So - can anyone look into their crystal ball for me and tell me if I'll get any eggs
Thanks!!
