Sex guess? Silkie and SLW

Hi all! New backyard chicken lady here wanting some thoughts on my 12 w old chicks!

Silkies I know may be too early, but why not ask! I'm concerned that my SLW are looking more rooish due to their tail feathers compared to their GLW counterparts... Any thougts appreciated!

First and foremost... ! I hope that you enjoy this site as much as the rest of us do! I have learned SOOO much, and I hope that you do too! Secondly... considering that your flock is only 12 weeks old it does look like you silver laced wyandotte is a male. He has quite the developed comb and wattle for a chicken his age. SOO, my vote would be that your GLW in the 2nd pic ( unless there the same chicken ) is a male. It also looks like the feathers are starting to represent the hackle feathers on a roo.

Concerning your Silkies, it looks as if the bodies ( and the pom-pom shape on top) are constructed like a female silkies. Now I can't be for sure right now, but it looks as if they are both pullets!

If you can pull back the crests on the Silkies and take a pic of the combs, it would help, but I get the feeling they are both pullets.

Thanks! Ill try to get comb pics on the silkies and know its likely too early. I'm super sad if the wyandottes are roos. My silver and gold lace were all supposed to be pullets, but I suspect both SLWs may be roos because of their tail feathers...

Were now 16 w old. Thinkingy black silkie is a girl, but we have questions about this one!

I guess it could go either way. It could be a girl with a big crest, but I'm thinking it's a boy. Looks like there might be a suggestion of streamers starting on the second photo, if I really look closely.
