I got her today, overall she's a really healthy plump bird, although she has a bottom beak deformity that I was wondering how can I fix it? She's lice free but, I still dusted her in case! She's really nice and sweet! But, she Hasent been eating since I got her and I don't think it has to do with her beak being deformed... She still drinks water though. I introduced her to my bantams and I expected her to be top hen since she's literally 3 times bigger then them but she's at the bottom of the pecking order and the other hens left her alone. The thing is she isn't being very active or social does it have to do that she's in a new area with new birds? Also, I was wondering when should I expect an egg? Thanks

Alright congregations on the new chicken do you have any pictures yet so we can see the problem ....

Do you have an eye dropper by chance and a bag of Duramycin-10 ...

I have a eye dropper but I don't have Duramycin,

Oh sure put up a photo wile I am typing .....

Looks like she was kept in a cage but that is not the problem and I personally could not Knowingly sell a chicken like that but your problem is something else so try to give her some liquids with an eye dropper and see is her whole problem is just the move because the beak should not cause any feeding or drinking problems enough to stop her from doing ether .

Hello there and welcome to BYC!

She could have been debeaked at some point. It may grow in properly over time. She may be too stressed to eat right now. Make sure she does not have to compete for food or water and just give her time. She will probably not lay for a couple weeks. Chickens don't like to be rehomed and it can upset the laying cycle. Keep an eye on her and see how she is tomorrow. You might find something she will eat for now...some chopped hard boiled eggs or yogurt or something like this. Just to get her appetite stimulated. Even some sort of seed treat tonight before roosting. Keep an eye on her and walk and talk slow and quiet to her for a while. Keep the stress down. I hope she is ok. She looks like a real sweety pie!

Hello :frow and Welcome To BYC! You've gotten some good advice/links above, X3 it looks like she was debeaked, good luck with her, hope she does OK. Be sure she has a deep food dish debeaked birds usually do better with them, depending on what you are feeding (pellets, mash, crumbles) she may be used to another form of food, you could try wetting what you are using and see if she likes that better.
