Sex Link Chicks?

I bought some eggs off ebay that said they were red sex link eggs. They just hatched and they are all yellow. I emailed the guy to see what they should look like. He said that they will all feather out white and that the guy he bought the chickens from said the only way to sex them would be feather or vent....I thought sex links were sex links because you could tell the sex when they hatched???? I saw pics of the parents and they look like a sex link roo and golden comet hens.

they are sex link during the first production but if you take a sex link hen and cross her with say a barred rock, you no longer get a sex link, you get a cross breed. The gender sex by color only works the first time from my understanding.
