sex link or australorp? or something else

My australorps were a bit older when I got them, but they looked like that.

JayBird, Black Sex link males are Barred not black, if you had a black male it wasn't a sex link.

The amount of white on a chick has nothing to do with whether it's an Australorp or Giant.

I don't see any trace of red or brown so unless they develop those colors later, they prob aren't sex links. Australorps are supposed to have pink soles on their feet, Giants are supposed to have yellow, but that doesn't always hold true in hatchery birds so you probably won't know until they grow up.

They're cuties, good luck with them.

ella that is what i will have to do. Though one does have slight brownish coloring on the wings. But the legs on the two in qustion are blacker then my black sexlink legs which are a brownish black color

We also have a chick/pullet that we posted here and nobody can really tell what it is.
We have concluded it is a Jersey Giant based on coloring and foot color.

This is ours about a week ago:

We bought 2 at a feed store that are from a hatchery in New Mexico. One for sure is the Black Sex link while this one has no similar colorations at all . We are with you that we will have to wait until she/he grows up a little.
