Question is will the silver laced Roo crossing with a Delaware be an identifiable linked chick as the red stars are?
Reading this again, I realize I missed something the first time.
The Delawares are barred, and the Wyandotte rooster is not--so the sons will have barring and the daughters will not.
If you get chicks with a yellow dot on the head, they are probably barred and thus cockerels.
But considering that these chicks will have sort-of lacing (because of the Wyandotte father), it will probably be hard to spot the barring as they grow up--white bars on messed up lacing for cockerels may not look much different than messed up lacing with NO bars for pullets
