Sex-link question

This is probably a dumb question, but here it goes. What color are needed to breed a sex-linked chicken? And not just a red-star or a black sex-linked chicken. Is there a way you can breed another breed a chicken to be sex-linked? Such as Sochins,Silkies,Japanese,and sebrights? I have heard that if you breed a gold sebright hen and a silver sebright rooster than you will get a sex-linked chick.Is this correct?

Cross a male gold sebright over a female silver sebright. Males will have a silver face and females will have a gold face.

You can use any gold male and silver female, neither of whom carry dominant white to breed sex links. Male offspring will be silver and females gold.

Likewise, you can use any barred female and non-barred (preferably solid coloured) male to create sex-links. Male offspring will be barred and female will not.
