Sex-linking an australorp?

is it possible? i have a male australorp and i do not want to get rid of him. he is very friendly and i raised him from a day old. i would love to be able to sex my chicks. are there any breeds of hens i could breed with him that would have sex link chicks?

use Barred hens(cuckoo, Crele) on him and you will get black hens and Barred boys, the boys will have a white/cream dot on their heads

i have a couple barred rock hens. so these would work? i tried to research this myself but it got way too complicated for my simple mind!

To ensure the sex-linking you will need to put them into a breeding pen so you don't get eggs from other hens.

yes i planned on doing that when i decide to sex link. don't plan on it until next spring but who knows i did just get a new incubator!
