Sex links??

Hey everyone, I have just recently hatched some chicks. My rooster is a male sizzle and my hens are barred rock. I was told the outcome would be chicks that are sex linked, males would have white spots on the head and females will just be black with no markings. I was planning on selling these chicks. Is this true? I wouldn’t want to false advertisement their gender

As long as your rooster isn't barred or white (which has the potential to hide barring) then yes, that is true, and the chicks would be sex links.
