Not all EE's have a beard or muffs. EE is just a breed of chicken that lays colored eggs. Like green, or blue.

I know what an EE is. It's not quite what you say. It does, however, have a few traits you can usually find, although not always. I named those traits so the OP could understand why someone said the bird didn't look like an EE.
