Silkie 1: loves me, loves cuddles, doesn't have a developed comb, attacks my pug, has blue ears

Silkie 2: somewhat hates me except at night, maroon walnut comb coming in nicely, blue ears undeveloped right now

Very early to attempt to sex silkies. At this brief moment in time, they appear to be pullets. But that is NOT written in stone. It's best to try and sex them at 4-5 mos.

Going to be honest, with Silkies until they either start crowing or laying eggs you may as well flip a coin!
(and even then it's questionable, because I had a silkie roo who would brood chicks....)

Exactly!! My 9 month old silkie just started squatting....they have their own speed and you'll know when they're ready to tell you..
