10-12week old chicks. I am fairly sure Robin (the EE) is a little roo. Teeny (the D'uccle) I'm not sure about. I would like it to be female and haven't seen any saddle feathers yet but i am prepared for either outcome.

Robin is a roo for sure. The little d'uccle i would wait a little longer on. I have a 15-week-old pair of mille fleur d'uccles, and my pullet's comb was about the same size as yours at that age but not as pink. It still remains about the same. The cockerel, otoh, had a much larger and very red comb by 10 weeks. It was obvious by then he was a he. I didn't take any photos of the cockerel (Rumpelstiltskin) at that age, but the first pic below is my little female (Buttercup) at around 10 weeks. I am also including photos now of both, at 15 weeks for your comparison.

Look at posturing as well. Little boys take on a tall, regal stance. My cockerel wants nothing to do with anyone, which is why he isn't photographed often, and that's fine with me since he is a boy. The female is quite the opposite and is my sweetest girl ever, very docile, and seeks human interaction anytime she's given the chance. She's not sick or dead in the second pic; just being affectionate.
