sexing 1 month old chickens.

hello! I need some help sexing these babies- I bought them off of MyPetChicken a while ago (all were supposed to be pullets), though I’m not quite sure of their genders. it would mean an awful lot to me if y’all could help sex them!

The campine is the smallest of the group. The others are all around the same size.

^chick #3 - Scorpion. Golden laced Wyandotte.^

^chick #4 - Crysanthemum. Golden campine.^

3 and 6 are looking like cockerels.

They all look like pullets to me maybe watch no.3 no.6 is a leghorn so its comb will develop faster

I would keep an eye on Scorpion, there seems to be a lot of red in that comb lol maybe post more pics in a couple of weeks?

It's not noted clearly on the site, but vent sexing at its best has about a 90% accuracy rate, so even if you order females you do sometimes end up with males.

They're all beautiful birds. If you decide to keep what looks like two roos, you could get more females to add to the flock and keep them happy. Sex link or autosexing chicks can be sexed with 100% accuracy at birth, so they're a good way to get guaranteed females.

If you email their photos to my pet chicken they will sex them for you and you save a step in getting your refund. Just email pics to [email protected] give them your order number and ask them to confirm they are pullets.

I agree! They will all be beautiful!! Nice mix of chickies!
