Two red/gray and a pale gray. Bought from a breeder. Supposed to be purebred ameraucana. Unsure of gender...hoping for pullets as I already have an EE rooster

Up close of combs....I'm guessing all roosters.

Thank you!

I was sold them by a breeder as purebred ameraucana, but I'm doubting (based on my slim research) that they actually are. Supposedly she only breeds lavender, which would be the pale gray, which also, I believe, shouldn't have any red. The other two...I can't even guess what the proper color was supposed to be.

What makes you say cockerels? I've got another group of people saying hens for all, which is why I'm asking.

I'm not an expert and have never had this breed, but all the Americans I've seen that have red leakage are males. I have no idea about the Lavender.

Fffff....That's what I was thinking as well. All 3 that were supposed to be ameraucana pullets have red leakage, even the lavender. Splotchy, too. And red combs.
