Is it possible?? I just received an email from the lady I purchased my araucana roo from, stating she has 6 non-tufted, rumpless araucana chicks for sale that she thinks are pullets. :celebrate
She was kind enough to offer them to me first before advertising them; so I couldn't ask her to hold them for me for a couple more weeks to be sure they are all female (even though that's what I really want to do). If any of you pro sex-ers think it may be possible to sex them this young I will ask if she can send me some pictures of them. Thanks!

If I were you I wouldn't wait, you may not be the only person she is offering deals to... You will be able to sell any roosters, you won't be stuck with them, and you can use any you wind up with to add genetic diversity to the flock before you sell them. But, that's just my opinion (confess to being chicken enabler).

Well I got some pictures...but not good pictures. I didn't tell her I wanted photos for sexing so that's my fault. I have no experience with sexing chicks, but from what I've read on this forum through the years, isn't that a lot of pea comb for a 6 week old chick? Especially from that distance?

Yes there is a lot of color in the comb but it may be caused by the flash.
