Sexing 8 week chicks

Hello!

This is my first post here after searching and examining and searching again to try and figure out which sex these chicks are. I am just as confused as I was when I started. *sigh*

Two are said to be true ameraucana’s and one is said to be a chocolate Orpington.

They are 8 weeks old. Any help would be lovely!

The chocolate Orpington (named Seala)

Ameraucana #1 (named Pinot)

Ameraucana #2 (named Edwina)

The chocolate orp is a maran mix cockerel. Not sure on the ameracauna.Likely pullets.

1st pictured is a male/cockerel and not a Choco Orp but a mixed breed
2nd & 3rd look to be pullets; love the muffs/beards

the first one (seala) seems to be a rooster and the rest look like pullets. You can kinda see it because seala has a bright red comb and wattles.

Agree, #1 is suspicious ... Too much red even at 8wks & too young for the hackle & saddle feathering to show itself.

Hello! Here I am again, now with 12 week old birds. I *think* everyone was right before. Only one pullet. But I’ll post new pictures just to double check before we send them off to a new home. *sigh*
