Agreed, golden comet is another name for a sex link... as chicks the males would have been yellow and the females orange. When feathered, they'd look like this:

Caveat to the comments above--the sex-link color is only valid for the first generation (chicks from using a red--usually RIR-- rooster with white hens). 2nd generations (chicks with red sexlink parents) won't be sex identifiable by color.

Completely, 100% agree!!! You can't breed red sex link to red sex link and get... sex links. Same with black sex links. All you will have is a barnyard mutt.
