Sexing a White Peafowl

Any tips on figuring out if a white peafowl is male or female ?

Difficult for most to sex visually before 1 year and be sure. Once at this age there will be differences visible or coming visible, such as spur bumps will be larger on males. Females get just small pea sized ones. Can be DNA sexed though at certain places for minimal fee.

My baby is about 10 months. No sign of a train yet. But it's starting to make a honking sound occasionally. Also will fan out its back feathers... Didn't know if only males did that or not?

Males begin to get a small train in year 2 and full train in year 3. It will not be able to be sexed by train this year until fall when a male will start to grow one. Both males and females will "display" with no train as yearlings by fanning out those feathers.

What i noticed with my whites is the difference in the shape of the tail feathers of the young males and females, my females tail feathers are always rounded but the males always have a bit of a point especial when they are getting new tail feathers,
the males in the photos are 14 and 26 months and the white female is 14 months.
I will know for sure if this is right as i have 3 whites and i belive they are all females going by the tail shape.
This is just what i have observed while rasining up my own peafowl i am in my second year

can anyone tell me if the peafowl seen here is male or female? we got it in Aug 2012 from an elderly couple who could not take care of it, and did not know really how old it was, so i turn i have no clue how old it is. It was still very small when i got it, but i have never had one before so i have no clue how fast or slow they grow. Any help is appreciated

If it fans like that all the time i am willing to bet it is a boy, i have females that fan but every time i have had one fan all the time it has turned out to be a boy.
wished i could see it in person cause i have been dead on with all my white when it came to sexing them at a young age just something about the way they look to me .
Can you get a photo of it with the tail down , like a full body side shot? i know it is hard to get good photos in a pen sometimes.
