Hi All,
I purchased 4 Ameraucanas and 2 Black Australorps, sexed female as day-old chicks 10 weeks ago. The Ameraucanas all look so different, I've got a feeling there is at least one rooster in the bunch. And one of the Black Australorps seems to act pretty aggressive and its comb & wattle are so much bigger than the other's. What do you think?

i have a couple of austrolorps who have HUGE crowns, but they all lay eggs......so i dont know..

Yep, mature hens laying eggs will have large combs. But at ten weeks, that is a rooster.

The first easter egger may be a roo, post again in 3 weeks or so.
The other easter eggers are pullets.

Thanks everyone for your input. I feel much better now! Looking forward to those blue green eggs!
