im interested also, i dont know the mothers or dads, maybe a expert can out a guess in on my chickens, i dont even know really what breed they are.

post so pic of your chickens if there older it should be easy to tell the sex i just have a hard time with the chicks

That's okay if you missed there is still a chance to tell but it can be hard. The other opition would be to just raise them and getrid the chickens you want to when they get older.

the only old wise tale that i know works is a rooster crows.

You can try that but I really don't know any sorry. The other thing you can try is holding it by its feet upside down an if there chest goes its a rooster. It may wrk but be careful trying that!!!
