When can u star to tell if they are a hen or roo?

I think how early depends on how much experience you have with a breed, and your level of paranoia (I always see roos). It seems like if you post a picture, most people don't have an opinion until after 5 weeks though.

if you have enough experience you can start telling at a day old

you just feel right above the tail tuft for a little knot and if you feel one it is the preening gland and it means it's a roo
