Sexing Buff Dewlap Toulouse goslings...

Is there any way that I can tell the sex of my Dewlap goslings? I purchased a nice Buff trio from Allison Grell Last summer. I was able to hatch out my first two yesterday! I need advice!!

Well, vent sexing, if you're willing to attempt it. I don't think buff toulouse can be sexed by the color of their down.

Post pics of them in 1-2 months and it shouldn't be hard to sex them for us peeps on BYC

Congrats on the dewlap goslings! Allison Grell has amazing geese. My main breeding gander is from her, so of course I'm a little biased.

As for sexing them, it is easier to tell by personality than appearance when they are very young. The girls will be shy compared to boys. Once juveniles, much easier to tell by flatness of back (girl) and upright posture (boy).
