I purchased two “production blue” chicks from a local feed store.
they are almost 4 weeks old now.
one has a black comb while the others comb is turning much lighter colored. Is that an indication of male or female?

Thank you. Hoping they both are pullets But I thought the same with the 1st one. I guess time will tell. Thanks againthe first one looks like a roo, but I am no expert and have never sexed any production blues.
