Im not sure really. i think most breeds can be sexed by feathers. but i dont know. haven't ever thought to research it.. got me curious now LOL.

You CANNOT sex chicks this young, unless they're from a line with sexlinked color or feathering traits. You'll just have to wait a month or two or three like everyone else

People at hatcheries Sex chicks by feathers. ones they cant sex by the wings etc. Are usually able to be feather sexed. (by color). of course there are those few where they have to have.... the little lump or something?. which im not quite sure on. have never seen it done/tried it.

I read an article onese that there is a japanese method to sex chickens on day one but it's very difficult to learn. I sex my cochins the first week by that girls put feathers faster and boys grows more in size in the beginning. When they are fully feathered I cannot tell anymore so I need to mark them to keep track on who is what.

Day old chicks at hatcheries are done by very well paid individuals who sex them by their vent/reproductive organs. If you can master this skill you have a very good paycheck coming your way every week, that is if you don't mind stareing at chicken butts all day....
