Sexing Cochins

Can you sex Cochin chicks and if so, how?

you sex them like any other chick. There is vent sexing and feather sexing ( the most common used) Vent sexing is more relyable though.

Can someone explain vent sexing to me or refer to somewhere where I can learn about sexing? Newbit to ALL of this...thanks!

Well, the way I was taught is you blow on their vent and watch to see what happens. If a little node shows as they flex the vent then its a boy and no node then its a girl. That's how I was taught. Some are really hard to see though, you have to know what it is you're looking for.
