am I understanding correctly that the browns are the old coturnix that you can color sex? The rest you have to wait for them to mature to vent sex? In that case, I might only keep the browns, LOL

ah ha! So, I was able to see that I have 2 hens and 2 roos in the browns, and I have a bunch of roos and I think only one hen in the goldens. I have no clue on the tibetan's though, LOL. I wish they had the chest color like the browns and goldens! I think of the 13 I have right now, I'll keep one brown roo, the 2 brown hens, and one golden hen for a quad to keep in this cage - and eat the rest in a few weeks

that's a great idea, and if you're using them for breeding that golden hen will produce nice goldens over the brown roo!

believe me, I wish so badly I could tell roos from hens just by looking on tibetans...i hate vent sexing!
