Sexing different Coturnix colors

I don’t know if that rule applies or not... I have a white male with spots on his head that I was told was a female. I can tell he’s a male because of the white foam they excrete and he’s mating the hens. I think checking to see if they have that foamy stuff is the surest way to tell.

I have Golden Italian and some white with black spots that have a similar pattern to those. Any idea if the speckled chest rule applies to the white birds?

No, the only way to tell gender in A&M's is to either vent sex, wait to hear crowing, or laying an egg.
