What gorgeous birbs Ang! I didn't realize d'Uccles come in that brown/partridge color - stunning! Thank you so much for sharing. I just love their puffy cheeks.

I hope this isn't the start of a "popping" comb for my little one. You've helped add so much context to the changes I'm seeing week over week. My OCD brain is playing 4D chess with each new sign lol. Excited to post the full 5 week update shortly

Right now 4 looks like your only pullet.

Update again in a week! Usually d'uccle cockerels are more red at this age. Could be slow developing cockerels, or fast developing pullets. Going off the one for sure pullet, I'm saying they're slower developing cockerels.

Yes.. she is a brown-red D'uccle, i got her from the bantam bin by way of Ideal Poultry... i Don't think anyone else offers brown-red. She is THE SWEETEST LITTLE CHICKEN!! She's outside in her run, but was raised as a house chicken, so she sits at the corner of the run and stares into the house all day, waiting to catch a glimpse of me i love her so much!!
