Sexing ducklings by voice

There's 6 in total. Some under some on top. It's warm underneath it. I'll have a look at it and raise it.
I use the heat plate too
Mine are just over a week old and find them sleeping away from it
My house is pretty warm though
By 3 weeks none of my ducks used heat at all in the house
Outside barns maybe different

Yea see if you can raise it and if they’ll all start going under.

With 6 your brooder might get tight in a few weeks. You may have to come up with a new set up. Where abouts do you live, I’m asking as far as weather conditions and temps? And how long did you plan on having them inside?

I know some people keep them in for 8 weeks, I’ve never done that long and try to plan my ducklings around warmer temps here that way they can go outside way sooner, even if just during the day. I know this is unpopular opinion and I’m not telling you to do this, just telling you what I do, mine are usually fully outside by 3 ish weeks. Again based on temps and conditions.

The lady I got them from suggested they stay under heat for 6 weeks. I'm in the UK so the weather is very hit and miss. My house is pretty warm though, im mid terrace so I get all my neighbours heat. I've raised it quite a fair amount and they're still sitting on top of it 🙈

Lol they may just be used to going on top now. Even with it raised they’re still able to get on top??
