Sexing Easter Eggers

OK, I was asking because I have a 3 year old GLW hen and I wanted to go back and pull pictures of her from the same age. Your GLW has a *ton* more comb and wattle development than she did at that age. But each chick develops on its individual timeframe. Yours does not yet have the hackle feathers and saddle feathers of a rooster so I would keep an eye on those areas. If just looking at comb/wattles, I'd have to guess your GLW is a cockerel. Sorry! Yeah I’m thinking do too! But it’s ok :) we may keep them still idk just wanted egg layers.

Hello all! I’m a new EE chicken mama and pretty sure I’ve got two roo’s . They are 9 weeks old. Out of the 6 they’re the only two who are getting sickle shaped tail feathers with some iridescent green. They also have huge combs and wattles compared to the others whom have very little with little coloration. Not to mention being the boldest, peskiest, and the two raise their hackles and stare each other down often...
thanks
#1 this is Chickaletta ... roo?

Too young to be sure yet, but at this point there aren't any obvious cockerels. Wait until the chicks are at least 8 weeks and repost pics.

I’ve been anxiously awaiting I’m thinking I have 3 cockerels and 2 pullets looking at their coloring. The 2 suspected pullets also have small pale combs compared to the other 3.Top picture front bird, pullet. Back bird, cockerel. Bottom picture bird to the right, pullet. Middle, cockerel. Left, cockerel. What’s everyone else think?

I have an approximately 16 week old EE I had thought was a rooster based on coloration and how he has feathered out. But now I am not sure. His comb doesn't seem to be any bigger than other EE who I am fairly certain is a hen. I did some research and the color pattern could be that of a hen. What do you think?

What did she look like as a baby chick?

This is Noodle... I’m really thinking it’s a boy, but there’s not really any comb development.

We’re only at 5 weeks but he/she’s already attempting to crow... sounds like a dying raptor in Jurassic Park.

A little young yet, give it a few more weeks... although I suspect you are correct. Typically a crow at this age indicates a cockerel, and although its not red, a comb that big is also an indicator. The comb is kinda raised up and somewhat wide.
