I am a first time chicken parent and I am so disappointed that Phoebe may actually be a Chandler, pretty sure Monica and Rachel our other 2 are females they are not EEs and their combs are pale, I don't know what to do! Wanted to start slow with 3 and now 5 weeks in I may be down to 2 already...

a feed and Seed store in Chicago, they have chicken, bird and bee keeping, old time mom pop place, highly recommended, did not reach out to them yet, I am still in denial

Did you, by any chance, pick the chicks that were first to come up and check things out? The 'outgoing' ones are usually cockerels.

no, totally random,about 30 in pen, my daughter liked the EE markings so the owner reached and grabbed one, same with the other 2

honestly don't remember seeing either, just the names of the breed, will call or stop in tomorrow, closed today
