Ok, I know this has probably been covered many times and I researched it a little but didn't get a solid answer. I had 30 chicks hatch out this past week. Most were from my EE roo over one ee hen and 3 RIR hen. My Buff roo probably had a little influence as well possibly as a few chick are yellow or light colored. I was talking to a lady tonight about buying some BCM eggs this weekend and we got to talking about her cream legbars. So I got off phone and did some research and saw they were an auto sexing breed that had Araucana in them. The article said cockerels would have a pale spot on head and little to no eye barring while pullets would have eye barring as well as a stripe running from head down the back. So my mind goes to spinning and thinking, heck most of mine are striped. Surely I didn't get that lucky and get a majority of pullets or is the striping with mixed EE chicks just a common thing?
