I have some eggs in the incubator and should be going to the hatcher on Wends. My question is can you sex them like a chicken by the wing feathers or is there no way to sex them until they grow and really I am not sure about which they are even grown up. Are they really that hard to tell apart or am I missing something.
Thanks

I couldn't tell until they were full grown. Males have a darker comb and only make one type call. Females will make a multiple syllable call. Oh, and the females lay eggs, LOL. Ticks have been horrible in Ohio already this year, but the guineas are on bug patrol, eating everything they can find. They are very busy right before dark. Wish I had more of them. I'm hoping my female will hatch some out for me. I would do it myself, but the 28 day incubation throws off my chook hatching schedule.
