Sexing Light Brahmas

My beautiful light brahma is supposed to be a pullet, but s/he has started "crowing" lately and so I'm wondering if maybe s/he is going to be a "roo" instead of a hen? I read several places about looking at the feathers in the hackles and saddle areas, but I could make the argument either way and I don't have any other light brahmas to compare to. Anyone have thoughts?
