Sexing my 3 week Barred Rocks.

Where did these barred rocks come from?

The wide comb and thick legs make me want to say rooster on A, I think B is probably a pullet, the rest I can't tell yet.
Why not post some more pics in a few weeks, for more opinions and advice on spotting roosters you could post a few pics on the big fat is this a rooster thread? :

I think they are all roosters apart from G. But I would definitely wait a few more weeks. The hens are darker than roosters in the feather colour

I would disagree as that method is very hit and miss and only really works on purebred heratige barred rocks.

With my barred rocks I had to wait until they were 12 weeks or older until I could either tell by behavior or color( pullets are darker) on their sex. Its difficult, they all look the same for a long time.

My guess is all girls.

If they came from Ideal I think they are all pullets. My BR's roosters from Ideal were all solid gray with not spots or barring like the pullets. Then as they got older the boys bars came in.

Thanks for all of you input! I got these chicks from a poultry and bunny farm down the road.

Some look like mixes and not pure barred rock.
