Yes they are 100% what I mean by disgusting is how very few of the younger generations are willing to learn about it or work on a farm. They are happy with going to grocery store getting there food and not caring about where it came from nor how it got to where it is. Idk just touchy subject.

So an update on my birds .. I went to where I purchased the explained that I was told that the ducks are Rouen because the clerk with the manager both told me that they do not sell mallards unless it’s a special order also told me that they’ve had NOmallards this year and ducks are marked before they receive them ... they assured me that they were Rouen ducks ...so thought I’d show you what they look like at 4 weeks ...

Those are mallards, rouens have 2 stripes. Tsc employees can barely tell a duck from a chicken much less the breed.

they are mallard, rouens have two connecting eye stripes and mallards have one (here is my rouen mocha (1st pic) and a mallard duckling i rehabbed named squeakers (2nd pic)
