Sexing my new salmon favorelle.

Where I am friends have quite a few, though they could no longer source me any, unfortunately.
They are definitely not the most common of backyard birds though.
I love their fluffy feet/beards and tinted eggs!
 
yours is for sure a female!

Here is an SF MALE at 3 weeks. They have black feathers and comb is more prominent and red than a female would be. Currently my SF male is 14 weeks old now, but I don’t have a recent pic. We have had females in the past and they don’t have any black feathers, and look quite different from a male.

Are there a lot of people still keeping this breed? Sorry to hijack the post. The web indicates there endangered.
I've seen and read that in a lot of places also. Which is weird to me. Every hatchery sells them and a bunch of locals where I live sell them also.
