Sexing my peas

Young. The first six I bought I lost two almost immediately. I kept them off the ground and did everything by the book. They were prob 2 or 3 weeks old. Now that set are very healthy and over 3 months old. The second set I bought were raised by bantams on the ground. She had so many she didn't know exact age. I'd guess a month old or younger
 
I would still worm all of them, but I'd also start them on Corid. You might also want to buy a kitchen scale and weigh them. They are young, so should make daily weight gains. Any lack of gain or loss is a sign they are sick. You should also inspect them for mites and lice because in this picture it looks like she might have bugs:

I've used that before but it sometimes doesn't take effect all that well or it can take some time. Also if you're using medicated feed it only effects the birds for a certain age group. Also if you keep using the same wormer, medication, and external parasites control they can eventually become immune. You should always have 2 different kinds for each area that way you can alternate them.
