Hi all!
I urgently need help on sexing my sizzles.:(I have three sizzles and I am going to keep one and I was planning to sell the other two. I was planning to keep a hen but I am stuck in between my two favorites and am not too sure about their gender. The bigger paint is the one I am stuck on. It’s a bit odd because usually the hens start to devolop head feathering earlier than the roosters, but the suspected roosters have the nicest feathering overall but are bigger so it is odd. I am a beginner silkie/sizzle breeder and I want to improve my flock so any opinions on who to keep are also welcome!

These first two are the smallest paint, I think she is a hen.

This photo above and the one below are the bigger paint that I have no idea the gender of.

This photo here^ my small paint again next to the partdrige one I think is a roo for size comparison. He is about the same size as the big paint.

Note the gold hackles^ I believe he is a rooster.

The partridge is definitely a roo. Could you take individual pictures of each bird? I can see you have at least two roosters going but I can't be sure of the genders of the others without better pictures.

They are about 3 months old.:)
Ah, darn. At that age it is a little early for the pointed male feathers to appear at the saddle and crest, so it doesn't help too much. The best things to look at are combs and wattles at this age, their size and development. I don't see much development in the pictures, so hopefully you have two girls.

I have a couple photos of the bigger paint, but the smaller one is really hard to take photos of. Unfortunately, I am not home right now but I will take some better photos tomorrow. :)

Thank you! Sizzles are tricky:/ The other paint is quite a bit larger than the other one. I think hen might be a rooster because he is a bit larger but fingers crossed he’s a hen!
