I don't think King Bee is going to be much help. They look to be between three and four weeks old. the dark one is def Spaulding but none are old enough for me to say what sex. They look like a pair, but I could be wrong if the darker one is a Spalding. Maybe @KsKingBee will comment.
We got these Peachicks today and they have not eaten at all in about seven hours since we got them home. Is this normal? They definitely are not as active as our baby chickens. They look like a pair, but I could be wrong if the darker one is a Spalding. Maybe @KsKingBee will comment.
Can you get a kitchen scale and get a baseline weight on them?We got these Peachicks today and they have not eaten at all in about seven hours since we got them home. Is this normal? They definitely are not as active as our baby chickens.
I don’t have one but can get one tomorrow. They have been sleeping all afternoon and have not seen them eat or drink anything. Can you get a kitchen scale and get a baseline weight on them?
What does their poop look like? Are they warm enough?I don’t have one but can get one tomorrow. They have been sleeping all afternoon and have not seen them eat or drink anything.
Next time they poop can you post a picture of it?They pooped in the box on the way home and poop when I pick them up. It is runny. As far as warmth they are at the opposite end of the enclosure from the heat lamp so I assume they are warm enough. The temps here are in the 80s plus the heat lamp.
