Sexing rabbits ....

I have 6 week old rabbits. It's so hard to tell if they are male or female! I guess I will have to wait another month?

You can sex them at 6 weeks, you just have to look very closely. You are looking for a slit with the doe, a "doughnut" with the buck. There is slightly more space between the buck's genitals and his anus than there is with the doe, and the doe's vulva only stands up at the part furthest away from the anus.

Some people can actually sex bunnies at 3 weeks You just have to know what your looking for. Bucks will have a little circle opening, and girls will have a little slit down the center... I / O . It's not hard, but you do have to know what your looking for. Also, bucks are *usually* bigger, I have noticed this, But then again you will always buns that defy that logic.

I've looked, but they are all so tiny! It's hard to tell the difference!
