Sexing recessive white quail

3 weeks ago i hatched 7 of these. 5 have a black tuft on top of the head 2 do not does this indicate sex or is it random?

Black tuft like a spot or two of darker feathers? That is random and doesn't indicate gender. Males and females can have the spots or be completely white. With white birds you will have to wait until they are mature to tell gender, and either watch their behavior or vent sex them.
