Sexing Silkie Chicks

so.. i have no experience in sexing my chicks, and i was wondering if these pictures might help to determine? i've looked at many different methods but i'm still unsure. They both hatched last sunday, may 12.

I am in pretty much the same boat mine just turned 2 weeks yesterday.
Someone on here told me 8 weeks or more...I'll post again and see. I'd recommend you do the same. Super cute widdle babies though!

Way too young. You MIGHT be able to tell after 8 weeks, but you won't know for sure until they crow/lay an egg.

I just did a TON of research on silkie chicks and how to tell them apart. It's not the easiest thing to do and I am still guessing at this point since mine are still small too but I would say the light one is definitely a girl the other one maybe. The wings being so prominent is a good sign. Please keep us up to date on what they turn out to be!

sure will! i'm posting new pics of them today,, they're seven weeks old now!

WAY too early to tell...usually you can’t tell until they are 4-5 months...sometimes not until they crow or lay!! I have 25+ silkies and still have to wait sometimes for them to lay or crow!! Post again in a few weeks...gorgeous puff balls!!
