I've got four lovely silkies that have just hit 22wks. One I am positive is male, he's had the big walnut comb, floppy wattles, and obvious streamers for a while now. One I am 99.9% is female, dainty, right shape, no comb whatsoever, no signs of maleness about her at all. The other two I was fairly sure were pullets as well, but now I'm not so sure. I've got questions. I think it's the tails that are throwing me off, and the fact they're much larger than the little black. In normal circumstances with other breeds I would have guessed the most developed was the dominant boy, and maybe the others were subs, but in this case he is in no way dominant, he's just as gentle as the female and either of the ones in question.

And if anyone can help me with if those two are just grey or splashes or what, that would be super!

The Two Questions

The Grey, tiny smooth comb, no wattles:

The White:

The White's comb is pink, but the sun through the blue tarp over head is making it look particularly red in this picture.

I think you have your guesses right and the 2 you don't know look like pullets. The grey/splash might be a cockerel but I think it's female

Both the unknowns look female to me.😊
Beautiful birds.😍
Your guesses usually seem pretty well educated and accurate, so I'm going to cling to hope! I was a bit disappointed the cockerel didn't end up bearded, (I'm sure he is too since one of his wattles is woefully inadequate compared to the other, and I mean, what man likes to hear his sister's have better beards than he does? :gig) but I'm super pleased with this batch in general!
