Hello! I recently bought three young silkies. Two are 16 weeks (gold and black) and one around 11 weeks (white). I know they are hard to sex so I tried to get the ones with the most pom pom hair do but looking at them this morning I am worried some are boys :(
I'd love anyones opinion:

This is the younger white one:

This is one of the older ones:

And here is the black one:

and all three:

Thanks in advance!

Really? How can you tell? It would make my day if they are as I am already attached to them and would hate to send them back! Thanks for your replies

I have a silkie rooster at about 8-9 weeks and he already has a comb and waddles. And your silkies are older than mine so if they were roosters they would have a comb and wattle.

the white looks like it has streamers which makes it a cockerel and the black i cant tell but may also be a cockerel but looks more like a pullet but the white there is no doubt that its a cockerel

Wow, the white one was the only one I thought was definitely a girl as there seems so little space for a comb to develop, such a lot of fluff on top and this one is less upright in its manner. I think maybe i'll have to hedge my bets and hold on to all of them for a while longer to see if any start crowing...

Sadly never found out as we lost this one - think it was Mareks. He/she never really developed or grew much in all the months we had it

. The Gold and black were girls though.
