Sexing silkies!

Good Afternoon, I am hoping that you are still helping out. I purchased the silkie hen and she/he is starting to look like a male to me. Can you please help? I'm not supposed to have roosters.

Hello! Of course I'm still helping out, I'm sorry but that is a rooster, notice the hackle feathers, and elongated tail feathers.

Looks like a pullet to me. very pretty chickie! I don't think the OP has been on in awhile. (wish he was cuz I have 2 silkies I'm curious about lol)

I bought a black silkie from a local on March the 22nd and she said it was 4 to 8 weeks old and that it was a pullet but idk can u help me??

I think the OP is no longer active. Looks like you have maybe a second or so generation silkie mix. Thats some very large wattles and comb for a silkie so young. I'm fairly confident that you have a cockerel.
