Sexing Silver Appleyard Ducks

Hi, me again. These guys are 10 weeks now. They still don’t make much noise. I still can’t sex them. There isn’t even a hint of green on either head. In fact, it seems like both are quite dark compared to the breed standard. The lighter one has noticeably blue wing stripes and the one in the background has more green-blue ones, though neither show well in the picture. They are both the same size, maybe 6lbs each.

No quacking? According to what I have read about silver appleyards, they don't get the green head until they go through their adult molt.

Every time I hear quacking, I run out there and it’s the wild mallards, so I shake my fist at them.
