Sexing Spitzhaubens (5-6 months old)

So I was reasonably sure both of our spitzhaubens were female, until my wife mentioned being slightly worried one might be male because her waddles are bigger... And now *I'm* worried about it.

We got them in early May, so they're 5-6 months old now. Waddles only grew in over September, since in my pictures from August they don't have any. Neither have crowed, but neither have started laying or squatting either - but neither has the booted bantam we got at the same time.

Both look like pullets. Marjorie seems to be developing faster when reaching POL the wattles and comb will get more pronounced and red.

Both are pullets. The wattles are bigger because they're getting ready to lay.

I believe so! She's a lot less white than the example I've been able to find on Google, but it's such a nice color. We call her our five dollar foot long because of her color and how she turns into a loaf when we pet her, haha.
